JSC-Internet WiFi =
This connection has fewer security measures, so may be easier to connect to
“first”. This will NOT allow access to
jsc.edu, eMail, or Portal services.
JSC-Secure WiFi =
More secure, requires your JSC username/password authentication.
•The First time you connect a device to either JSC
network you will need to register the device online through a web browser. It may take a minute to make the initial
connection.
From the JSC Network Registration choose JSC
Users and follow the onscreen
instructions. It is required to restart
the browser after registration completes.
•Troubleshooting tips
1.
Turn off/on WiFi,
or “Forget Network” then reconnect
2.
Reboot device
3.
Remove any manual
DNS or network settings, make sure “DHCP” or “Automatic” options are set
